Thank you for choosing Healing Braille as your massage and bodywork provider. To provide the best service possible, the following policies have been implemented. These policies must be read and agreed to before any appointment can be scheduled.
Any appointment can be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours before the treatment. Adding additional add-ons, add-ins or time to your appointments may be done the same day if time allows. If you reschedule or cancel your appointment without providing 24 hours notice, you will be charged 100% of the total cost of your service. The same applies to “no show” clients and same-day bookings that are canceled (cancellation is less than 24 hours). Repeated rescheduling/cancellations may disqualify you from future bookings.
*Note*
Verifiable emergencies/illnesses (must show proof), inclement weather, and preterm labor will generally be excused and documented.
If a session starts late because of the massage therapist or unforeseen circumstances (accident, inclement weather, car trouble, etc.) then the start time will be adjusted so the client will receive their full treatment time. If that is not an option then the price will be adjusted appropriately to reflect the lost time (the client also has the option to reschedule or cancel the appointment).
If a session starts late because of the client only the remaining time will be provided for the service, and the client will be billed for the full amount. Exceptions such as severe inclement weather may be excused.
Example: A client shows up 15 minutes late to a 90 minutes service, the client will receive the remaining 75 minutes and will be billed for the full 90.
Any damage or theft of the massage therapist's equipment/personal property (outside of the therapist's control) that is caused by a client, pet, or any other person's inside the dwelling, will fall to the client to replace or repair said items. Minor cosmetic damages/blemishes are usually forgiven, however, the decision to will ultimately fall to the massage therapist.
Refusing any service is exceptionally rare. However, at Healing Braille massage therapists retain the right to cancel services at any time. For any reason. Common reasons are:
*Excessively rude or lewd comments/actions
*Driveway and/or home is virtually inaccessible
*Unsafe environment
*Clients being untruthful on their intake forms
*Aggressive animals
*Work space is inadequate, ie : too small, temperatures too uncomfortable.
*Client/s are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
*Unwanted advances
If a session is refused, and the reason is found valid after review, the full amount of the service will be owed.
Again, these are common reasons for cancellations but not the only ones. We ask that you show your massage therapist respect and they will return it in kind!
Booking an appointment signifies that you have agreed to the policies listed above.
***The terms of this policy may be updated at any time. All clients will be informed of the changes, and the new terms must be agreed to before any future sessions can continue.***
